We’re chuffed to announce that DNA have been selected to design and build a new website for the London Trocadero following a recent pitch process. We will be working with London real estate firm Criterion Capital to create a new online presence for the Trocadero and implement a new social media and content strategy as part of their rejuvenation plans for the centre. We’ll also be working closely with the Trocadero tenants such as Cineworld, Funland, HMV, The Rainforest Cafe, Starbucks and Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

On hearing the news that we’d been awarded the account, Jon just couldn’t stop himself from doing a celebratory dance on one of the Trocadero’s dance machines. Check them mad skillz!

DNA have successfully completed a project for one of the UK’s leading book publishers, Hodder & Stoughton. Based in London, the publishers awarded the prestigious contract to DNA, briefing them to design and build an updatable website, with features, blogs and news about authors and their forthcoming books for their new imprint ‘Two Roads’, which publishes themed titles focused on animals, emotion and life-stage decisions.

Still a relative newbie to DNA, Digital Project Manager Mathew Riley found winning the major contract when in competition with some of the best London agencies is very satisfying ? “The most rewarding part of the project was delivering a site that matches the tone and functionality requested by the client”.

The Two Roads imprint is run by Lisa Highton, who edited the mega successful Marley and Me film tie in, among other titles. Lisa commented: “DNA was incredibly helpful and patient setting up the Two Roads site. We really appreciated the problem solving and after sales service but first and foremost a great site.”

The Classic Throttle Connection is a new business – formed from one man’s passion for classic cars. We’re delighted that we’re now designing and placing CTC’s advertising in a range of classic car publications, as well as on the web, and it’s now our role to ensure that generating enquiries is something the team at Classic Throttle Connection doesn’t have to worry about. They can now spend their time finding and purchasing the best vehicles, then ensuring they are in the best condition of their lives before sale. We’re keeping our eye on these guys. They have a track record of making things happen and we’re loving being a part of it.

MCE Insurance, one of the UK?s top 3 providers of motorcycle insurance, has just appointed us to bolster its online presence and communication style. We will be working with MCE?s in-house design and web development team, providing input on brand personality, tone of voice, copywriting and online marketing.

Our remit is to build better brand awareness and customer loyalty online, and the whole project came from a social media marketing idea we took to them earlier this year. The social media project will form stage two of the campaign, which begins with the in-house team’s redesign of the existing website. We expect this programme to drive MCE’s online leads and sales, and ultimately to reduce their spend on Pay-Per-Click. It’s a great project – particularly for Jim, who loves his bikes (despite having a small ‘off’ earlier this year)!

We have just successfully completed the redesign and build of the Education section of the Met Office website ( Working to tight brand guidelines inline with W3C guides, to AA standard. The project was completed in 3 months, to budget and delivered on time ? live last week. As well as the web design and build, the task included designing and producing flash animations as teaching aids on the site, and the creation of the Met Office Educational character ?Weather Explorer,? to help children in Key Stages 1 & 2 to understand and engage with the material. The work has been very well received by the Met Office team, passing comprehensive usability testing. We are looking forward to working with them again soon!
