Devonport?s bid to raise its profile at this year?s Monaco Yacht Show proved very successful last week, with the company enjoying a personal visit on its new stand by His Royal Highness Prince Albert. We helped Devonport create a brand new exhibition concept for the show, based on the updated branding we developed in 2007. Our MD, Jim Green, went along to see how the finished article was received and feedback on Devonport?s overall show presence was extremely positive. This was the first time the company had invested in a two-tier stand in Europe, but the upstairs space provided an invaluable escape from the excitement and business of the Show, where serious meetings could be held in comfort and in private. Devonport also played a key role in what proved to be something of a coup for the UK superyacht industry ? the first ever Monaco appearance by the RAF?s Red Arrows!

When tasked by Beverage Brands to come up with two interactive programmes, we seized the opportunity to make them as comprehensive and practical as possible. The Bay Builder and Fridge Builder interactive applications (built entirely in Flash), use an intuitive drag-and-drop functionality as a means to demonstrate the best shelf or bay stacking practice for wholesalers and bar staff, which ultimately improves profits. After creation, stacking configurations can be saved, loaded, re-edited and printed all within a stand-alone application that requires no connection to the internet ? making it very versatile and more portable!

We?re pleased to announce the launch of the new Princess Yachts International website, which went live in conjunction with this year?s Southampton Boat Show. The data-driven Flash website features videos and detailed specifications for twenty of Princess? luxury yachts, plus ?the Princess experience? walkthrough, an interactive historic timeline, distributors map and up-to-the-minute interactive calendar. We dispensed completely with the old layout and navigation, building this site from scratch to bring the web presence in line with the Princess brand identity and corporate communications, which include the latest brochures and advertising campaigns. The website is now live at www.princessyachts.com.

We never shy away from a challenge here at DNA, so when tasked to source the best printer and budget for the latest Princess projects the creative team did themselves proud!

In the constant pursuit of perfection, Paul Mabin, our Creative Director, flew to Italy to press pass imagery for both the Princess 95MY and V85 brochure. It was the first time DNA had printed anything on this scale¬† abroad, so Paul was there to ensure the results were up to scratch, in terms of colour accuracy, balance and consistency on text, imagery and cover production.¬† We?re yet to see the finished result of the V85 brochure, but judging by the quality of the finished brochure for the 95MY, we’re sure we will be pleased. Both brochures will be available at the Southampton Boat Show and we?re all looking forward to seeing the results.
