DEVONPORT Yachts: Branding strategy

We believed Devonport’s marketing material wasn’t doing justice to its immense marine engineering capability. With 400 years of heritage and the capacity to fit out a nuclear submarine, Devonport can build vessels that other shipyards only dream about. We wanted to help them spread the word. What began as a strategic review soon became a comprehensive brand building exercise, which we helped to roll out both externally and internally. We completely revised Devonport’s key messaging and tone of voice and developed a new, more imposing corporate identity and design style. To help maintain momentum and consistency, we created a brand handbook, formalising Devonport’s values, positioning, mission statement and unique brand characteristics in one simple document.
